All NVQs offered by Q Training are delivered in the workplace and by skilled assessors who have hands on experience of working in health and social care. Each candidate is provided with a full induction, evidence portfolio and study materials.
Here are the qualifications we currently offer: if the one you are seeking isn’t listed here it may still be worth giving us a call as we may be able to provide it in the future if there is sufficient demand.

NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services  £995

We are delighted to be able to offer this new qualification which replaced the Registered Manager Award on 1st August 2008. As well as being suitable for managers of CSCI registered services, this qualification is designed for managers of varying levels of seniority throughout the full range of social care services. Peter Connors, Director is currently working on the final stages of a book to support the new award which will soon be available from the publishers, Kirwin Maclean Associates Limited.

NVQ Level 4 in Care - £925

This is often undertaken in conjunction with the Registered Managers Award and this eight unit award enables candidates to demonstrate care and support related competences at a senior level. It’s a good route for candidates who are working with the newer and more varied types of service which are increasing being commissioned as well as traditional care homes as it includes a very wide range of optional units.

NVQ Health and Social Care Levels 2 and 3

Q Training is able to provide Health and Social Care Levels 2 and 3 absolutely free of charge for eligible candidates in conjunction with our Train to Gain partners.
Alternatives to the Train to Gain route for Levels 2 and 3

You may prefer not to follow the Train to Gain route for a variety of reasons in which case our price for NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is £750 supported by an experienced Q Training assessor and £395 using a member of your staff team who holds the A1 Award – Assess Candidates using a Range of Evidence.

Our price for NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is £856 supported by a Q Training assessor and £525 is supported by your own in-house assessor. Whether you follow the in-house or Q Training assessor route you may be able to offset your costs by claiming back funding for completed units via the TSIF Grant from Care Learning. For the six units at Level 2 this could mean that you could recoup up to £390 of your costs and for the eight units at Level 3 you may be able to claim back up to £520.

NVQ Assessor Training – £450

We can train you or a member of your team to be an A1 NVQ Assessor. Once again this is delivered in your workplace – not in a college or training centre. This is a one to one modular course which the assessment and verification team are experienced at delivering and which has proved successful and popular.

Where Train to Gain funding is not available many customers find that using an in-house assessor is a cost-effective route to ensure that their teams achieve their NVQ Level 2 and 3 awards.
